Message the engine I used for fitment is in the yellow z and it does have a plenum on and there were no fitment probs there. the 300zx does not give you many choices on where to put things. I had to raise the WG so it sits cozy between the battery tray and rear plenum, any lower and the wastgate bell becomes a problem.

I really wish I had taken pics with the plenum on but alas I cant take anymore pics of that manifold because they are not in my possession.. its like losing a child :(

these manifolds are only going to work with the external wastgate versions of the 2871 and 2860 they could possibly fit other variants , but definately will not fit the internal wg versions such as the jwt700.

with the internal wg turbos , the actuator presents a fitment problem when you move the turbo location far enough out to improve flow, ironicaly the internals wg 28rs's fit best at closer to the stock location.

However making manifolds like these to fit a stock turbo location would require more compromise of the design which I dont want to do.
To me externals are a plus anyway so its a win win for the people wanting to push the limits and do it with more reliable wastegate control.

heat wrapping would be recommended.
